Spanning over 4 years, our level 3 engineering apprenticeships offer you a comprehensive learning and practical experience programme. In the first year, you’ll learn foundational engineering skills at Gloucestershire Engineering Training (GET), honing essential skills like welding, fabrication, and understanding material properties.
From Year 2, your apprenticeship will transition into a hands-on experience, splitting your time between GET and G-TEM. Here, you’ll apply your acquired knowledge and skills in real-world scenarios, contributing to the smooth operation of our manufacturing plants.
Upon completing your apprenticeship, you’ll receive a nationally recognised Level 3 Extended Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, affirming your proficiency in the
field. Completing the first two years may allow you to pursue an HNC-level qualification, further elevating your expertise and career opportunities.

Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Level 3)

Repair and maintain our fleet of automated robot arms and stamping presses, whilst earning a BTEC Technical Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
